General Job Summary:

This is a part-time position (27.5 hours per week) located on the Spencer Campus. Primary responsibilities are to assist with Surgical Technology lab courses as assigned per semester. Additionally, this position will track student surgical clinical cases, evaluate and report student performance, and evaluate student progress. Must be able to obtain certification as a Certified Surgical Technician. May be required to travel between sites utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance.


Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.


Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree preferred. Three years of recent, relevant operating room experience. Completion of a state or nationally recognized examination. Must be able to obtain certification as a Certified Surgical Technician.


Salary:  $25.00 per hour
