General Job Summary:

These are seasonal temporary full-time day positions located on the Emmetsburg or Estherville Campuses. Primary duties are to perform routine custodial duties including annual dorm cleaning, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning walls, floors carpets, equipment, whiteboards, painting, etc. Assist with lawn care and sod placement. Work with cleaning equipment and expendable cleaning supplies. Must complete Bloodborne Pathogens Training because of potential exposure to blood or body fluids while performing cleaning duties. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or willingness to obtain equivalency required. Experience as a custodian or housekeeper desired. Must have a valid driver’s license. Preference given to previous employed summer help.

Salary:  $15.00 per hour
