General Job Summary:

This is a part-time position (27.5 hours per week) located on the Emmetsburg Campus. Primary responsibilities include test proctoring for both credit and non-credit students, assisting students enrolled in developmental education courses, coordinating peer tutors, and occasional assistance with advising and registration. Organizational skills, multi-tasking, and an unwavering commitment to student and customer service are critical in this position. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Preferred fields include education, English, or mathematics. Knowledge of correct English usage, grammar, punctuation, and/or basic mathematics/algebra skills strongly preferred.

Salary:  $22.10 per hour
