Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sewing Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing and serging machines to assemble high-quality medical and recovery support products designed to aid healing, improve comfort, and support patient recovery.
The ideal candidate takes pride in precision craftsmanship and works efficiently while maintaining strict quality standards. You will play an important role in producing products that positively impact patients and healthcare providers alike. Responsibilities
- 1. Operate Industrial and Serging sewing machine.
- 2. Sew various pre-cut products.
- 3. Produce at levels within range as established by department.
- 4. Understand and perform a variety of operations within department.
- 5. Assist other departments as production schedules require.
- 6. Present ideas for cost improvements and operational efficiencies.
- 7. Cooperate with peers, supervisors, other departments and office staff.
- 8. Occasionally lift up to 35 lb. loads of materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2. Sewing experience preferred.
- 3. Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- 4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required.
- 5. Basic math skills required and statistics skills preferred.
- 6. Prior experience working in a team environment a plus.
- 7. Knowledge of TQM, ISO 9001, CE and QSR a plus.
