About the Job
Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, our goal is to increase access and improve the quality of behavioral health services.
We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Peer Support to Act as a mentor and guide to individuals with mental and behavioral health challenges with insight gained from their own personal journey. They’ll model and promote positive health and wellness activities, including self-management and coping skills.
Salary Range
$13.00-$18.00 per hour (Depending on years of experience, education, and license level)
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required
- Must hold an active Peer Support Specialist certification or be eligible to obtain one
- Must have one continuous year as current or former recipient of mental health treatment
- Travel is a requirement of this position, so a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance are required
- Veterans of the US Military are encouraged to apply
