
Dean of Arts & Science
General Job Summary:
This is a full-time administrative position reporting to the Executive Dean. This is a multi-campus position with a home base on the Estherville Campus. The Dean of Arts and Science will provide leadership, facilitate change, and effectively manage programs of learning, resources and personnel in the assigned area and work closely with other academic deans and directors across the college to create meaningful educational outcomes. This position will serve as a liaison among students, faculty, staff, administration, and the community-at-large with primary supervision over faculty and staff in the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science transfer degrees. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance. Required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in education or in a related Arts and Science discipline required. Five or more years of instructional experience at a college or university in an Arts and Science discipline strongly preferred. Two or more years of administrative leadership in education preferred. Any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of this job will be considered as approved by the Human Resources department.
Salary: $76,800
