General Job Summary:

This is a part-time position located on the Estherville Campus. Primary responsibilities are the development of student athletes in conditioning and competing on the dance team; evaluation and recruitment of prospective student athletes, practice, performance, and competition preparation. Will require flexible hours including weekends and evenings. The additional physical demands normally expected of a coach are required. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and provide proof of insurance. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications:

Collegiate experience preferred. Dance coach or studio preferred. Past experience as a student athlete and/or coach, which has provided sufficient knowledge and understanding of dance team fundamentals.

Salary:   $15,000
