Customer Service Agent
Job Summary:
MHR Insurance Agency is an ever-growing independent agency representing multiple insurance companies to best meet the needs of our customers. We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team in the desired Iowa Great Lakes Area. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences by providing comprehensive insurance services and producer support. This position requires a passion for customer interaction, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-past environment. If you are not already licensed for personal and commercial lines, we will provide training to assist you in getting licensed. Although having insurance agency experience is a plus, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the business.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to all customers including policy changes, quotes, applications, claims, administrative duties, contribute to the renewal process, and any other duties assigned.
Required Skills -
Property and Casualty Insurance License or ability to obtain in first 60 Day.s
Experience with AMS360 a plus.
Computer proficiency (MS Office Word/Suite)
Excellent customer service skills and attitude
Excellent communication skills - verbal/written
Must be able to prioritize workflow
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must be able to view a computer screen for a significant portion of the workday
Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated
Must be able to work overtime as needed (for example claims servicing following a storm)
