General Job Summary:

This is a part-time morning position, approximately 27.5 hours per week primarily during the school year (limited hours in the summer) located on the Estherville Campus. Primary responsibilities are to cook, plan, prepare, and help serve breakfast meals for students, staff, and special events with occasional evenings and weekends. Work performed in a commercial kitchen environment. A sincere commitment to customer service is necessary. May be required to travel utilizing personal vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and provide proof of insurance. Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Employment with Iowa Lakes Community College is dependent upon successful passage of a criminal background check. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency required. Quantity cooking experience preferred.

Salary:  $15.35/hour
