About the Role


We’re looking for a motivated and professional Boat Salesperson to help our customers find their dream vessel. In this role, you aren’t just selling a boat; you’re selling the "lake life" experience. You’ll manage the entire sales journey—from greeting new leads and conducting on-water demonstrations to handing over the keys on delivery day.


You’ll be the face of Parks Marina, providing expert product knowledge and a premium buying experience that keeps customers coming back year after year.


Duties

  • Manage the full sales cycle for new and pre-owned inventory to meet annual goals

  • Prospect and follow up on leads via phone, email, and in-person walk-ins

  • Lead professional product presentations and exciting on-water boat demos

  • Negotiate sales terms and trade-in values with integrity and professionalism

  • Maintain a clean and organized CRM to stay connected with your clients

  • Coordinate with Service, Parts, and Rigging to ensure every boat is prepped to perfection

  • Assist with showroom staging and physically helping with inventory care when needed

  • Represent the marina at boat shows, open houses, and community events

  • You are a "people person" with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • You are self-motivated, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • You have a deep understanding of (or a strong desire to learn) marine products and propulsion

  • You are comfortable operating watercraft and leading customer orientations

  • You have a "team-first" attitude and aren't afraid to jump in and help move or clean a boat when duty calls

  • You are reliable and available to work weekends and holidays during the peak boating season

  • Experience

    • Prior experience in big-ticket sales (Marine, RV, Automotive, or Luxury goods) is highly preferred

    • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing customer relationships

    • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

    • A valid driver’s license and boating experience
