WILD Roots Summer Summit Who: 13-18 year olds When: June 1st from 6-8 PM Where: Horseshoe Bend Cost: Free What to expect: Dickinson County Nature Center aims to provide opportunities for teenagers to connect with nature and each other through the WILD Roots program which is designed to offer teens a space to foster friendships, learn new outdoor recreation and land stewardship skills, and develop leadership qualities. We also invite WILD Roots teens to volunteer at designated programs to gain experience in the conservation education field and to develop positive character qualities. This event will teach valuable survival skills and what to do if they ever become lost in the wilderness. Pre-registration is required to attend.
