There will also be the debut of a new short film. Sleep Between the Stars, being shot 'on location' April 5-7, including night-time shoots, on the Okoboji Summer Theatre campus. Film director Chase Thompson, Associate Professor of Filmmaking and Program Chair at Stephens College states, “Our short film, Sleep Between the Stars, is a student project where we wrote a script that is specific to a location. We think the Okoboji Summer Theatre location will make a great setting for our alien movie.” Through a passion for film and teamwork, Stephens’ Filmmaking program provides the essential tools to bring your stories to life. Owned and operated by Stephens College, the Okoboji Summer Theatre has been a proud member of the Spirit Lake community since 1958.
