he Dickinson County Nature Center invites adults to enjoy a hot cup of coffee at
Kenue Coffee Hour to listen to Mark Anderson, an archeologist at the Sanford Museum. The event will
take place at the Maser Monarch Lodge on March 5th at 10:30 a.m.
Anderson’s presentation 'Archaeology is All Around You: A Culture History of Dickinson County,
Iowa,” will explore what an archaeologist is and the important work that uncovered stone tools,
arrowheads, pottery shards and other artifacts from the last 14,000 years of human history in Iowa.
Kenue Coffee Hour is a monthly program held on the first Thursday of the month where a
speaker presents on a conservation- or nature-related topic. Pull up a chair and enjoy conversations
