Thursday, October 28, 2021 (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
A one-hour customer service workshop for managers and front-line employees of businesses will be presented Oct. 28 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dickinson County office in Spirit Lake.
The workshop will focus on best practices in attracting and retaining customers. It is designed for front line employees and managers who interact with the public, including retail, services, convenience stores, restaurants, attractions, and lodging.
Workshop participants will learn how to inspire more travelers to stop at their community, stay longer, and keep returning; and how to attract visitors to their own business, and increase their customer base through the “Five Steps of Excellent Customer Service”.
The program was developed by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Economic Development staff at the request of Iowa Economic Development Authority and Iowa’s three tourism regions.
The workshop is free, but pre-registration is requested. To register, call 712-336-3488.
